Purpose: To provide hands-on learning for employment service providers who are interested in implementing or are in the process of implementing evidence-based Supported Employment for people with mental illness as described in the SAMHSA Toolkits.Who Should Attend: Those who are interested in employment for people with serious, persistent mental illness; Executive leadership, Clinical Directors, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Case Managers, ACT Team members, Peer Support Specialists, Employment Program Leadership, Employment Program Managers and Supervisors, Employment Specialists, Job Developers, Job Coaches, Families, Consumers and any other stakeholder.
About the presenter:
Amy Miller is a Project Consultant with the Michigan Department of Community Health. Prior to joining DCH, she was Senior Director of Training for Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids. Amy has been involved in supported employment efforts for persons with disabilities for 20 years. She is also a member of the Supported Employment Network of consultants and trainers via the Evidence Based Practices Center at Dartmouth College and is privileged to work with a number of different organizations and counties throughout Michigan on their SE initiatives.

No refunds will be given after July 29, 2011. Substitutions are permitted.
